The U.S. dollar strengthened against Taiwan’s currency in Taipei on Thursday morning, reaching NT$32.950 and raising the Taiwan-dollar cost of buying dollars, Central News Agency (CNA) reported.
The quote was NT$0.129 higher than the previous close. CNA placed the observation at 9 p.m. ET Wednesday (02:00 UTC Thursday), corresponding to 10 a.m. Thursday in Taipei.
