The United Arab Emirates’ Capital Market Authority (CMA) is examining AIX Financial Consultations after receiving information about the firm, placing the matter under official review as investors report delayed and missing investment payouts tied to AIX Investment Group.

The CMA did not identify what information led it to open the review and announced no findings. The authority said the process remains confidential while it assesses the matter and that any updates will appear on its official channels. The authority described investor protection and orderly, transparent markets as aims of its oversight.

The Financial Times previously reported individual recovery claims of $2 million and $8 million, citing court documents.

In September, AIX Secure SPV Ltd said it was restructuring investments it said were affected by volatile markets. The company said most of its products were unaffected and that it continued to honor obligations associated with them. The CMA said it would communicate any relevant updates through official channels.
