UK-based secure bitcoin exchange platform Bitlish has established the first multi-coin automatic exchange point in Russia’s second-largest city of St. Petersburg.
The new bitcoin ATM offers bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin and Zash purchasing facility along with an automatically-updating exchange rate.
The new multi-coin ATM is located in a shopping center at Sredny Prospekt V.O. 36, located on the city’s Vasilevsky Island. With the launch of this bitcoin ATM into Russian markets, Bitlish aims to implement more ATM’s in the country but due to legal issues and concerns, it has hosted only a couple of machines.
Although the bitcoin exchange recently demonstrated its fleet in ATM’s during a conference in Moscow, there is no official information available on the locations of the machines and there are no ATM machines in Russia that are listed on CoinATMRadar’s listings.
The installation of bitcoin ATM in St. Petersburg, marks the changing times regarding Russia’s relationship with cryptocurrency.
