U.S. Mid-term Election Series: Democrats do well in picking up Republican seats in House and Republicans do well in Senate

  • Democrats are trailing in the House but that is largely because the results are yet to be out yet but so far, they have done extremely well in the House of Representatives in flipping Republican seats. So far, Democrats have won 102 seats with 11 flipped from the Republicans, and the Republicans have won114 seats.
     
  • Republicans are doing well in the Senate. So far they have flipped two Democratic seats.
     
  • The Democrats have so far flipped 3 Governor seats.
