U.S. Mid-term Election Series: Republicans set to take Indiana senate seat

The Indiana Senate seat looks to be going to the Republicans as Mike Braum has received 57.4 percent of the votes compared to 37.6 percent for the Democratic opponent Joe Donnelly.

The Senate race is much easier for the Republicans as they are defending fewer seats than the Democrats, whereas, in the House, the Democrats need to pick up just 23 seats to snatch the majority away from the Republicans.

The Mid-term is looking to be a referendum on President Trump as almost two-thirds of the voters say that the President is a factor.
