U.S. Mid-term election Series: Wait is over

Millions of Americans have voted in one of the most crucial mid-term election in the United States and the exit polls would soon start to appear. With more people voting this year than any other previous Mid-term election, the final results are as uncertain as the flip of a coin.

The first exit polls from the East Coast are set to be released at 23:00 GMT.

435 House seats are at stake at today’s election along with 35 Senate seats. It is widely expected that the Republicans would be able to hold their majority in the Senate while losing the House to the Democrats.
