US Presidential Election Series: Clinton leads with 68 electoral votes; Trump 67

Hillary Clinton has been declared a winner in Delaware, Illinois, Maryland, Rhode Island, Washington D.C, Massachusetts, and Vermont. With such wins, Hillary Clinton has won 68 electoral votes. Donald Trump has been declared a winner in Kentucky, Indiana, South Carolina, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Missouri, and Tennessee. Trump has secured 67 electoral votes.

Among the key battleground states, Trump is leading in Virginia and Ohio. Hillary Clinton is leading in Florida, and North Carolina.

In the Senate race, Democrats just need 11 wins to secure a majority, compared to 16 for the Republicans. In the House of Representative race, Democrats have won 35 seats and the Republicans have won 37 seats.
