A temporary halt intended to keep stolen funds from moving has ended, reopening USDT0's Tether (USDT) transfer route between Ethereum and TRON after an attack involving Binance.
Transfers had been paused as a precaution. USDT0's product provides a way to transfer USDT across blockchains, and the restored route links Ethereum and TRON.
USDT0 reported no disruption to its infrastructure. Transfers between the two networks can again proceed through the service.
At 6:55 p.m. ET (22:55 UTC), Binance's spot pair for TRON (TRX) and Tether (USDT) was $0.3483; liquidations across three exchanges totaled $370,000 in shorts and $360,000 in longs.
The exchange confirmed the loss Sunday, Oct. 25, four days after the wallet activity. CoinDCX said its live customer systems and deposit balances were unaffected.
Tether’s Sept. 28 announcement names Enta and Pulse but gives no rollout date or transaction fee schedule.
