Ukraine’s General Staff said its forces struck three drone-related sites near Navlya in Bryansk Oblast, seeking to limit Russia’s ability to use drones against Ukraine and civilian infrastructure.
The strikes took place on Oct. 28 and overnight into Oct. 29, the General Staff said. It identified the Navlya targets as a storage site for Geran drones, a “droneport” and a fuel and lubricants depot.
The General Staff also reported strikes on radar stations near Starodub and Medvedovo and drone-control posts near Savlukovo and Vitovka, all in Bryansk Oblast. It said a command and observation post near Novohrodivka in Donetsk Oblast was also hit.
The Kyiv Independent separately reported damage to the Navlya facilities; the extent of that damage is unverified. The General Staff did not assess damage or estimate how long any effect might last.
An Aug. 3 General Staff statement described an earlier strike near Navlya on a site used to store and prepare attack drones before launch. The Oct. 29 announcement did not connect its listed sites to that earlier target. EconoTimes covered a separate Oct. 21 announcement in a report on strikes against four Russian military sites across three regions.
