The Turkish National Defense Ministry and Foreign Ministry each reported a meeting in Ankara on Monday with Unal Ustel, prime minister of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), involving Türkiye’s defense and foreign affairs ministers.
The Foreign Ministry said Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan met Ustel in the Turkish capital. A separate notice from the Turkish National Defense Ministry said Ustel’s meeting with Defense Minister Yasar Guler took place at the ministry.
