Uniswap plans to bring v4 Hooks to Elysium, allowing developers to adjust how individual pools operate as Kinetiq prepares the Hyperliquid-linked network for a planned Nov. 9 mainnet launch.
Hooks are optional programs attached to pools. They can act when a swap happens or when liquidity is added or withdrawn, allowing pools with the same assets to follow different rules. Developers select a hook during pool creation; Uniswap documentation says that choice cannot later be changed. EconoTimes previously described a Uniswap pool with fees that differed by trade direction, an example of pool-level fee logic.
Kinetiq describes Elysium as a separate layer for application activity, with that activity settling on HyperEVM, Hyperliquid’s smart-contract environment. The company says the design aims to give developers more capacity than HyperEVM initially offers. Kinetiq plans to start Elysium’s mainnet on Monday, Nov. 9, according to its launch plan.
