Unity Software posted $122 million in GAAP net income for the quarter ended Sept. 30, its first profitable quarter on that basis since its 2020 IPO. Grow Solutions, its advertising business, accounted for more than two-thirds of sales.
Unity recorded $622 million in revenue for the quarter ended Sept. 30, 2026, 32% above Q3 2025. Its Grow Solutions advertising business brought in $457 million, 44% more than in Q3 2025.
The company’s strategic revenue measure, which it uses to track its core ongoing operations, totaled $597 million, a 59% year-over-year increase. Revenue linked to Vector, Unity’s AI advertising platform, was 126% higher than a year earlier and 40% above Q2 2026.
Net income turned positive from a $127 million loss in Q3 2025. Diluted earnings were 25 cents per share, versus a loss of 30 cents per share in Q3 2025. Adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) totaled $257 million, compared with $109 million a year earlier. GAAP results include costs such as stock-based compensation that adjusted measures may leave out.
CEO Matt Bromberg said Unity had never delivered a stronger quarter and referred to its strategy as a “flywheel.”
For Q4 2026, Unity expects strategic revenue to range from $683 million to $691 million, or 65% to 67% above the year-earlier period. Its adjusted EBITDA forecast is $290 million to $295 million.
