Riot Games is revealing more information about the story of “Valorant” agents and introduces an original lore that offers more mysteries about the game’s plot. To celebrate the release of new cinematic content, the developer is also giving away a free Player Card that can be redeemed for a very limited time only.
How to redeem the ‘Valorant’ Duality Player Card
The “Valorant” cinematic lore called “Duality” premiered during the Champions Tour 2 Masters Reykjavik esports event on Sunday. It was immediately followed by a same name Player Card that fans can collect for free.
To redeem the Duality Player Card, players should first make sure their Riot account is logged in. They can then proceed to redeem.playvalorant.com page, where they will have to enter the code YTILAUD. The card features Cypher, Jett, Phoenix, Viper, and Yoru floating in the air to enter what appears to be a portal to another planet or dimension.
You can now claim an exclusive Player Card for the "DUALITY" cinematic on the official VALORANT website!

While some fans said they have successfully redeemed the Duality Player Card, others have said they are still encountering problems with the “Valorant” redeem page. Upon checking, the page seems to be working, but it could take time to load. Players who already got their card advised others to keep trying, and they should because the free card will only be available for 48 hours since it went live.
Riot Games introduces new mysteries about ‘Valorant’ Agents and Radiants
“Valorant” is set on Earth after a phenomenon called First Light, which left the planet’s terrain and institutions in shambles. While the First Light is not exactly referenced in the Duality lore, the cinematic content highlights recent disasters that occurred in different parts of the world, and the substance called Radianite is suspected of having triggered the catastrophes.
The “Valorant” cinematic lore shows Killjoy trying to deactivate a device that steals Radianite. Viper and Phoenix join Killjoy in the mission when Phoenix decides to engage in a gunfight with someone who turns out to be his doppelganger.
The three managed to shut down the Radianite-stealing device, but the “Valorant” cinematic lore leaves fans with a cliffhanger. Phoenix’s doppelganger later joins other Agents, Viper, Cypher, Jett, and Yoru, in what appears to be a parallel dimension of the Earth.
