Vertiv Holdings Co. lifted its 2026 sales outlook after revenue rose 61%, as the data-center equipment maker's shares gained 25% over a period that also included Anthropic's proposed IPO filing.

Vertiv increased the midpoint of its 2026 net-sales forecast by $650 million, setting it at $14.65 billion. The company reported $4.313 billion in third-quarter sales, 61% above a year earlier, and said organic orders expanded more than 100% in its Oct. 28 release. EconoTimes previously covered Vertiv's quarterly revenue and guidance.

Historical prices compiled by the Financial Times put Vertiv at $194.32 at the Oct. 23 close and $242.94 at the Oct. 28 close, a 25.02% rise. Those endpoints bracketed trading on Oct. 26, 27 and 28. Anthropic filed its proposed IPO registration statement on Oct. 26, the first of those sessions, while Vertiv published its results on Oct. 28. The prices do not show how much of the gain, if any, came from the filing, the earnings release or other market news.

Anthropic's SEC registration statement shows first-quarter revenue of $4.731 billion and second-quarter revenue of $11.555 billion. The quarter produced $974 million in operating income, while Anthropic recorded an operating loss of $693 million over the first half. For compute and infrastructure, the filing gives $5.558 billion for the second quarter and $3.387 billion for the first.

The SEC filing puts Anthropic's future fixed or minimum-guaranteed commitments at $265.6 billion as of June 30, across terms of one to 20 years. Anthropic said it generally books computing resources 12 to 18 months ahead of when they can be used. The filing does not name Vertiv as a supplier or record purchases from the company.

Anthropic has proposed a Nasdaq Global Select Market listing for its Class A shares, using the symbol ANT. At submission, no IPO date, share total or price range was specified. The registration statement still needs to become effective before any shares can be sold.
