-Inflows into dedicated EM bond funds continued in the week ending 25 February 2015, representing four weeks of consecutive inflows. Inflows so far in February have totaled USD 2.27bn, offsetting a significant amount of the USD 2.94bn of January outflows.
-Total inflows in the week ending 25 February were USD 1.14bn. Hard-currency bonds received most inflows (USD 508.52mn), continuing to reverse some of the outflows in January. Inflows into local-currency bonds were USD 186.31mn, paring some of the outflows from the previous week, while strong inflows of USD 446.031mn into blend funds continued this week.
-Year-to-date, total outflows from EM bonds are USD 670mn, dominated by outflows of USD 521mn from local-currency funds and USD 466mn from hard-currency funds. Blend funds have had YTD inflows of USD 318mn.
