Even with the massive popularity of “Wentworth” among fans of the prison drama, it would appear that the addition of “Wentworth” Season 7 to Netflix is not going to happen any time soon. In fact, speculations put the timeline between 2020 and 2021. This makes sense since, depending on when the series actually comes out, its release on Netflix will only be possible once it has ended.
As What’s on Netflix reports, “Wentworth” Season 7 has already been confirmed for renewal and is likely already deep into production. With the Australian prison drama’s seventh season expected to premiere in 2020, fans are hyped to find out exactly what kinds of changes they will see. Following the finale of the previous season, it’s clear that there will be a changing of the guards, after all.
There was a big clash and now, an important character’s position will need to be replaced. More than anything else, though, fans are likely hoping for the ideal clash to be featured in “Wentworth” Season 7. A fight between Rita (Leah Purcell) and Joan (Pamela Rabe) is one that fans have been looking forward to for a long time.
In any case, the specific release date for “Wentworth” Season 7 has yet to be provided, but fans can expect this tidbit to be made public soon. It’s not as if there is any real reason to keep it secret once production is done. What’s more, it’s a hugely popular series that Netflix users are eager to devour.
This makes sense since it isn’t exactly available anywhere else outside of Australia in such a fashion. Binging on this and other TV shows has increasingly become the preferred mode of consumption. In the case of “Wentworth” Season 7, the likeliest periods of release hover somewhere around May and June of 2021.
