President Donald Trump remains in office as Democrats prepare to take control of Congress in January, a point the White House underscored Thursday with a video styled after The Legend of Zelda.

The clip's unverified policy claims include what it describes as the sharpest decline in prescription drug prices in more than 60 years and a murder rate at a 125-year low. It also says no people it calls “illegal aliens” have been released into the United States for 17 consecutive months.

The White House gives an animated Trump a cap bearing the words “Still your president.” The clip ends with him signing papers at the Resolute Desk. The White House posted a similar Zelda-style video in September.

The Associated Press called Democratic control of the Senate late Nov. 3 and a House majority early Nov. 4. The results do not change control of the sitting Congress. The newly elected lawmakers’ terms begin Jan. 3, 2027.
