Worldcoin (WLD) closed below $0.50 on both weekend dates, CoinGecko data show, even as CoinCodex recorded a $0.5376 high during its Oct. 17–18 interval.
CoinGecko put WLD’s Oct. 17 close at $0.491844 and its Oct. 18 close at $0.488667, with both dates recorded in UTC. CoinCodex’s high covers the two-day interval; its data do not specify which day WLD reached that price.
AMBCrypto reported a 5.1% decline in open interest over 24 hours based on Coinalyze charts and said funding turned negative during that period. Its analysis also gave an intraday Oct. 18 WLD price of $0.478. AMBCrypto interpreted the funding reading as favoring short positions.
Before the weekend, ChartExchange recorded a $0.4929 to $0.5473 range for Binance WLD/USDT spot trading on Oct. 16, as covered in EconoTimes’ earlier account of the Binance trading range. The $0.50 mark was within that day’s range, while both subsequent CoinGecko closes were below it.
