XRP futures trading was more than six times spot volume in a Sunday CoinGlass snapshot, giving a measure of derivatives activity as the token extended its weekly decline.

The 6:32 a.m. ET (10:32 UTC) Sunday CoinGlass snapshot valued XRP at $1.2963 after a 1.02% daily drop and a 7.17% slide across the week; it recorded $1.79 billion in futures volume, $280.14 million in spot turnover, $2.76 billion in open interest and $5.84 million in futures liquidations. Open interest counts futures positions that remain open. Because each contract has a buyer and a seller, that figure alone does not show whether traders overall favor a rise or a fall.

Polymarket put the odds of XRP touching $1.20 in October at 50%, versus 42% for a $1.40 touch. The market looks at whether XRP reached either threshold during October, rather than its final price on Oct. 31. Traders had put $272,416 through the market overall, of which $4,517 was tied to the $1.20 contract.

An earlier EconoTimes Sunday snapshot of Bitcoin (BTC) dominance and XRP near $1.30 also captured XRP around that price area.
