An XRP Ledger amendment activated Nov. 4 tightens delegated token permissions and adjusts vault and automated market maker rules, including safeguards against token creation and negligible-price auction bids.

The ledger’s known-amendments documentation says fixCleanup3_4_0 rejects a delegated PaymentBurn payment if it would push a token balance below zero and create tokens. The payment is allowed only if the delegate also has PaymentMint permission.

The update also addresses token clawbacks and liquidity withdrawals. For Single Asset Vaults, it refines rounding for deposits, withdrawals and clawbacks, among other vault changes, according to the documentation.

In automated market maker (AMM) auctions, the amendment prevents bids that would obtain an auction slot for zero or a dust price in a zero-fee pool. The amendment record lists the change as enabled Wednesday, Nov. 4.

EconoTimes previously covered the planned restriction on burn-only payments that create tokens.
