XRP Ledger Records Show What a Payment Recipient Received

The field covers a single payment; a movement comparison over time requires validated records and clear period and counting rules.

An XRP Ledger payment exposes its recipient-side amount through delivered_amount, giving a transaction-level figure rather than a running total of XRP movement. The distinction matters when assessing activity across a period.

A period-wide comparison calls for a separate calculation. The period must be defined, the records used must be validated, and the counting method must be stated.

A transaction record reports its validation status, along with the ledger index and that ledger’s close time. Metadata is settled only after the ledger containing the transaction is validated.
