XRP (XRP) moved above its four-hour chart’s upper Bollinger Band after the indicator’s spread tightened to its narrowest since August, adding a directional signal without establishing whether the move will persist.

XRP traded at $1.30, up 1.50% over 24 hours, at 4:41 p.m. ET (21:41 UTC) Wednesday, Nov. 4.

Bollinger Bands show price variation around a moving average. A narrower gap between the upper and lower lines reflects reduced volatility across the period measured, while the indicator alone does not identify which direction prices will take next. The crossing marks a move beyond the range tracked by the upper line; it does not settle whether the move will last.

Martinez pointed to a separate August episode, after which XRP rose nearly 71% in three days; that episode offers historical context, not a projection for the current move.

EconoTimes previously covered a separate four-hour XRP chart setup attributed to Martinez in an earlier analysis.
