A narrow Oct. 18 market reading put XRP buy orders ahead of nearby sell offers by about 9.5 million tokens, giving traders a snapshot of visible depth around the $1.30 price.
At 8:20 a.m. ET (12:20 UTC), XRP was quoted at $1.30. The book showed about 44.4 million XRP in bids below that level and about 34.9 million in offers above it, each within 2% of the quote.
The comparison covered a selected group of venues. The wider count covered 171 trading pairs across 64 platforms, including U.S. dollar and stablecoin markets. The scan included sell offers priced from $1.30 to $5, while the near-price comparison used a 2% band.
The Oct. 18 comparison used a $1.30 reference price for XRP.
The snapshot records orders displayed at that time; it does not capture completed trades. Because posted orders can be withdrawn or replaced, the Oct. 18 reading cannot establish what remained available afterward.
