XRP transfers to exchange wallets hit a seven-month high through Oct. 19, led by Binance, while the data showed movement rather than confirmed sales, analyst Arab Chain wrote on CryptoQuant.
CryptoQuant-tracked exchange wallets received 6.05 billion XRP in the 30-day window ending Oct. 19, the strongest total for a comparable period since March. Binance accounted for 2.46 billion XRP. Arab Chain said the broader inflow reading was about double its mid-August level.
An arrival at a wallet labeled as an exchange records a change in location; it does not establish that a holder sold XRP. The figure also does not show whether aggregate exchange balances increased. Deposits may instead support trading or another transfer, so a flow count does not trace what happened after arrival.
Arab Chain’s analysis places price moves alongside the transfer trend. XRP was near $1 at one point, climbed to $1.70, and later traded around $1.30, a sequence that does not establish whether price movements drove transfers or vice versa.
A separate Binance-only measure tracked large XRP withdrawals in dollar terms. Analyst Darkfost wrote that its 90-day moving average stood at $49.7 million on Oct. 20, the lowest reading since Oct. 2021.
At that level, the average was 98.6% below a $3.5 billion high reached in Feb. 2025. The measurement differs from the incoming total in direction, currency and duration: it covers one exchange and averages a dollar value across 90 days, while deposits count tokens reaching tracked wallets in 30 days. The figures therefore cannot be combined to estimate net transfers.
A previous EconoTimes report on the Binance withdrawal measure documented the low reading. Arab Chain pointed to turnover, price action and withdrawals as companion signals for the inflow count.
