HOUSTON, March 29, 2016 -- Xceligent, a leading provider of commercial real estate information and technology, has teamed-up with Commercial Gateway (CommGate.com), the commercial division of the Houston Association of REALTORS®, to launch Xceligent’s proactively researched platform in the market. Xceligent has successfully brought its service to more than 45 U.S. markets and is launching its research product into the top 65 markets by 2018.
“We’re very excited to bring our services to Houston, as it’s the fourth largest city in the country and is one of the key cities in our national expansion,” said Doug Curry, CEO of Xceligent. “We also allow our subscribers to search and analyze all of our researched markets, so adding Houston to our other Texas cities provides us with state-wide coverage of the largest commercial real estate areas.”
Xceligent provides a comprehensive suite of fully researched properties, listings, tenants, lease and sale transactions, historical trends, and demographic information. Xceligent and Commercial Gateway are creating peer-nominated Advisory Boards of top producers for each building type: office, industrial, and retail, that will certify the major transactions and market analytics each quarter. These local advisory boards also define submarket boundaries, building inventories, and definitions of specific uses that allow Xceligent to provide industry-aligned market reports and analytics. Xceligent’s Advisory Boards are a key differentiator that have generated a reputation of superior data quality for the company in each of its markets.
“The Commercial Gateway information exchange has been a valuable tool for local research and analysis since it was founded 15 years ago, but Houston brokers are increasingly serving clients from across the country, so they need to be transacting on a platform that is national in its breadth,” said Mario Arriaga, Chairman of the Houston Association of REALTORS® and a commercial broker. “Under the terms of our agreement with Xceligent, HAR’s Commercial Gateway will continue to offer and support its local information exchange service that will function as a part of the larger Xceligent research platform.”
As part of its market launch, Xceligent is physically inspecting over 40,000 properties, researching 18 months of sales transactions, and verifying the tenants located within office, industrial, and retail buildings over 10,000 square feet. Xceligent’s market analysts call every listing agent to obtain the most current listing data. This communication continues on an ongoing monthly basis to ensure the most current, comprehensive, and accurate data for Xceligent users. Xceligent’s information is used by real estate brokers, appraisers, property owners, managers, investors, and developers as they make strategic decisions to lease, sell, buy and develop property.
“We’re extremely happy to team-up with CommGate, whose information exchange has been the primary commercial real estate listing service in Houston and Southeast Texas for years,” said Curry. “We have strong partnerships with the National Association of REALTORS® and commercial REALTOR® associations across the country, and that has been key to our success over the last 15 years.”
