YINGFA plans to show two solar cell lines to Indian module makers at an Oct. 22-24 trade show, promoting different formats and company-reported efficiency levels as it seeks longer-term partnerships.

The company reports 27.3% measured efficiency for an individual TOPCon 3.0 cell and up to 28.4% for an individual XBC 2.0 cell. Those percentages apply to cells, not completed solar modules. YINGFA says a finished module’s performance also depends on its design, materials and manufacturing.

TOPCon 3.0 comes in full-cell, half-cut, third-cut and quarter-cut formats, giving manufacturers options for different module designs. YINGFA describes XBC 2.0 as having a black front with no metal gridlines and is promoting its appearance alongside its performance.

YINGFA says it manufactures in China and Indonesia and has sales, technical and customer support in India. It is seeking longer-term relationships with Indian manufacturers. Its announcement named no customer and disclosed no order or supply agreement tied to the planned exhibit.

The Renewable Energy India Expo organizer has scheduled the event for Oct. 22-24 at India Expo Mart in Greater Noida. YINGFA plans to show samples and discuss how the cells fit module designs at Hall 14, Booth C33.
