Yemen’s armed forces put the latest tally of operations aimed at Houthi positions at 1,208, without saying how long it covered, and reported separate developments in Lahj and Taiz, Anadolu Agency reported Tuesday.

The military said about 370 Houthi commanders and fighters had been “neutralized” and roughly 120 vehicles and other military assets were destroyed or disabled. Anadolu has said the army’s term “neutralized” can refer to fighters killed or wounded; EconoTimes covered the usage in an earlier report.

The army said its forces recaptured positions in Lahj and repelled Houthi attacks in Taiz. Anadolu reported a cautious calm in Al-Jawf and Marib, with no significant recent developments there, and said the Houthis had not commented on the army’s claims.

The army’s Monday report counted 951 operations over 24 hours, according to EconoTimes’ coverage of that tally. The newer count did not specify a period for comparison.
