YieldMax announced a $0.0757-per-share weekly distribution for the YieldMax® TSM Option Income Strategy ETF (TSMY), 6.43% below its prior payout, with payment due Friday, Nov. 6.
The previous distribution was $0.0809. YieldMax set Nov. 5 as both the ex-dividend date and the record date.
YieldMax listed a 28.70% distribution rate as of the Nov. 3 close, calculated using the most recently declared distribution and the fund’s net asset value. The annualized rate does not represent total return. YieldMax said weekly payouts may vary or cease. It cautioned that return-of-capital distributions can reduce NAV and market price over time.
TSMY seeks weekly income by writing call spreads linked to Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. (TSM). The call-spread strategy limits the fund’s participation in gains when TSM advances, while a decline in TSM could leave it with losses that exceed option premiums received. Payment is scheduled for Nov. 6.
