Zoom Communications, Inc. set a 6% to 8% revenue growth goal for fiscal 2030, relying on faster sales to enterprise customers as increased artificial intelligence use adds expense.

The company laid out the targets in an investor presentation at its Oct. 20 Zoomtopia event. The longer-term revenue goal assumes enterprise revenue will grow at a double-digit rate and that macroeconomic conditions will remain stable. Zoom recorded 4.4% revenue growth in fiscal 2026.

Zoom’s fiscal 2030 goals also include a non-GAAP gross margin of about 80% and a non-GAAP operating margin of about 40%. Its target for operating margin under generally accepted accounting principles is 28% to 30%, excluding one-off items, compared with 23% in fiscal 2026.

Zoom expects greater scale and operational efficiencies to offset the cost of increased AI use in its gross margin. It projects research and development spending at 12% to 13% of fiscal 2030 revenue, compared with 11% in fiscal 2026.

The fiscal second quarter offers a current measure of the sales base behind those goals. In the three months ended July 31, Zoom generated $1.28 billion in revenue, 4.9% more than a year earlier. Enterprise revenue totaled $787.5 million, a 7.8% annual increase.

Zoom also unveiled the Unified Context Layer, which connects conversations with business documents and data, at Zoomtopia. The product draws information from Zoom and connected third-party applications. The company has identified AI revenue streams as a priority, and its advanced ZoomMate search and workflow features use metered AI credits. Zoom has not disclosed a separate price for the Unified Context Layer.

The nearer benchmark is fiscal 2027, for which Zoom has forecast revenue of $5.085 billion to $5.095 billion. The $5.09 billion midpoint implies about 4.5% growth from the $4.8688 billion reported for fiscal 2026, below the company’s fiscal 2030 target range.
