Clinical Psychologist, University of KwaZulu-Natal Suntosh is a clinical psychologist in the public sector in Durban and is affiliated to the Nelson R. Mandela School of Medicine, at the University of KwaZulu-Natal. He is also a researcher and workshop facilitator with the African LGBTI+ Human Rights Project, responsible publishing the Practice Guidelines for Psychology Professionals Working with Sexually and Gender Diverse People. Suntosh is on the editorial boards of both the South African Journal of Psychology (SAJP) and Psychology in Society (PINS). His scholar-activism focuses on critical and decolonial approaches to mental health, race, sexuality, and gender. In 2015, he was named by the Mail and Guardian as one of the top 200 young people in healthcare in South Africa.
