Assistant Professor in Art History, University of Nottingham I specialise in modern and contemporary art history and theory in Britain and America. I am particularly interested in how the historical past has been visualized by artists working in the 1980s and beyond. My research also often applies analytic models derived from historiography, narratology, and literary theory to its study of the visual arts.
