Professor of Macroecology and Macroevolution, Universidade Federal de Sergipe Pablo Ariel Martinez holds a Bachelor's degree in genetics from the National University of Misiones (Argentina), a Master's degree in ecology from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN) (Brazil), and a PhD in ecology from UFRN (Brazil). He has worked with various tools such as molecular cytogenetics, geometric morphometrics, phylogeography, comparative analyses, niche modeling, spatial analyses and machine learning. He is interested in understanding how historical and ecological processes modulate phenotypic variations and the distribution of vertebrates. Currently, he is a professor in the Department of Biology and the Graduate Program in Ecology and Conservation at the Federal University of Sergipe.
