Senior Lecturer in Food Safety & Inspection, Coventry University
Lisa has worked as a Chartered Environmental Health Practitioner specialising in food safety, health & safety, and infectious disease control for local government and within the private sector.

Lisa has taught in areas related to food safety on undergraduate and postgraduate programmes at the University of Birmingham, Wolverhampton University and now at Coventry University where she is the Course Director of two food safety courses; BSc(Hons) Food Safety, Inspection & Control; and the CertHE in Food Control.

Expertise Summary
Researching and teaching EU and domestic food law, practical food inspection techniques, food law enforcement, food chain analysis, food chain security, food fraud, food safety management systems such as HACCP and ISO quality systems, allergen management and the workings of control authorities/bodies.
