Lecturer in Japanese Studies, University of Sheffield I have taught modern and Classical Japanese and East Asian linguistics in the School of East Asian Studies at the University of Sheffield since 1991. My first degree was in Linguistics and Japanese, and I have published on Japanese and Korean linguistics and on writing systems since.
