Carla Pascoe Leahy is an Australian Research Council DECRA Fellow at the University of Melbourne, Joint Editor of Oral History Australia Journal and an Honorary Associate at Museums Victoria. Her research focuses on the history and heritage of childhood, menstruation and motherhood in twentieth-century Australia. Her publications include Spaces Imagined, Places Remembered: Childhood in 1950s Australia (2011), Children, Childhood and Cultural Heritage (2013) and Children's Voices from the Past: New Historical and Interdisciplinary Perspectives (2019). Her latest research project is creating and analysing oral histories of Australian motherhood from 1945 to the present.
