Caitlin Byrne is Professor and Director of the Griffith Asia Institute at Griffith University, Australia. Her research into public diplomacy and soft power, particularly in the Asia–Pacific region, is recognised internationally and has been published in journals including Australian Journal of International Affairs, The Hague Journal of Diplomacy, and Politics & Policy. Caitlin consults regularly with federal and state government stakeholders on public diplomacy strategy design and implementation. She is a Faculty Fellow with the University of Southern California’s Centre for Public Diplomacy.
