I am an associate professor in the department of political science at Tulane University and the Senior Associate Dean of Academic Affairs in Newcomb-Tulane College. My research focuses on American political behavior, political socialization and public policy. I am especially interested in public attitudes about and behavior around issues of education reform and immigration policy. My book, A Midwestern Mosaic: Immigration and Political Socialization in Rural America, was published by Temple University Press in 2012.
