Igor Grant, M.D., is Distinguished Professor and Chair of the Department of Psychiatry at the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine. Dr. Grant is a neuropsychiatrist who trained at the University of British Columbia and the University of Pennsylvania before joining UCSD. His research interests include the effects of various diseases, such as HIV/AIDS and abuse of drugs and alcohol on the brain and behavior, as well as the psychobiological effects of chronic stress on the elderly. He is recipient of awards for excellence in teaching and his contributions to neuropsychology.
