Dr. Duduzile Zwane holds a Doctorate in Communication Studies from the University of Johannesburg (UJ). Prior to that she obtained a Master of Social Science Degree in Cultural and Media Studies, from the University of Kwa Zulu Natal (UKZN). Dudu specialises in Health and Development Communication/Cultural Studies. Thus far, her research endeavours have examined how communication can be utilised to propel the voices of marginalised people (particularly women), into public discursive spaces. Before joining UJ, Dudu lectured at UKZN. She is currently a postdoctoral research fellow at UJ.
