Assistant Professor of Organizational Behavior, McGill University
Jean-Nicolas Reyt is an Assistant Professor of Organizational Behaviour (OB) at McGill University in the Desautels Faculty of Management. He received a PhD in Management from Paris-Dauphine University. Prior to joining Desautels, he was a visiting scholar at New York University. He teaches OB classes at the bachelor, masters and doctoral levels.
Professor Reyt's research focuses on the relationship between the distances people consider (e.g. when working remotely) and important work outcomes including creativity, exploratory learning, and interpersonal influence. His research has been published in top management journals, such as the Academy of Management Journal, Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, and the Annual Review of Organizational Psychology and Organizational Behavior.
Professor Reyt also founded Distances in Organizations (https://dio.ac), a research network focused on the relationships between distance and important work outcomes.
