Research Associate, Geography & Environmental Management, University of Waterloo My area of expertise centers on sustainable food systems and the powers that give rise to social justice, environmental sustainability and economic viability issues permeating the food system. I am currently a Research Associate at the University of Waterloo where I am collaborating with Prof. Steffanie Scott and other researchers to examine the impacts of COVID-19 on food security as well as the linkages between agroecology and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Prior to this role, I held an IPaSS postdoctoral fellowship at the Balsillie School of International Affairs where I engaged in food security research of the SSHRC-funded Hungry Cities Partnership (HCP).
