I am Principal Research Fellow in the Research and Policy Centre at the Brotherhood of St Laurence (BSL) where I lead research on work and economic security. I am an economic and public sociologist and social researcher. My research interests centre on inequality, work (paid and unpaid) and economic (in)security with a particular focus on the intersections of gender, age, class, ethnicity, disability.
I'm also an Honorary Senior Fellow in the School of Social and Political Sciences. I was a member of the executive of the Australian Sociological Association (2013-2014) . I am also a member of the Work+ Family Policy Roundtable; the International Sociological Association; Australian Social Policy Association and the International Association for Feminist Economics.
