Nicholas Morieson received his Bachelor of Arts in Politics (Hons) and Master of International Relations from Monash University. He is currently writing a PhD dissertation on the role of religion in international politics. His research analyses the relationship between religion and politics in the international realm, religion as a modern Western construct, and the problems created for the discipline of International Relations by the ‘resurgence of religion’ in the contemporary world.
