I have been researching German integration and migration politics since beginning my PhD in 2006. After spending three years running the German program at Cornell College (IA), I began working at Michigan State University in the fall of 2015. I have published articles on integration politics and youth social work organizations, the German TV series _Tatort_, Critics of Islam, and artist responses to scandals in Berlin-Neukölln. I am at work on a book about integration politics, the refugee crisis and the far right.
