Honorary Associate Professor, ANU College of Law, Australian National University Peter researches environmental policy, including its translation into law. Current research themes include environmental impact assessment and the policy applications of environmental-economic accounting. Before commencing his research, Peter held a number of executive positions in the federal Environment Department, most recently as a First Assistant Secretary leading a Regulatory Reform Taskforce. He holds undergraduate degrees in arts and law, a masters degree in public law and a PhD in environmental policy.
