Tom's research background is in novel interface design for videos games, using biofeedback and emotion recognition systems. At present, he is a Research Fellow at the University of Portsmouth, looking at sound perception and virtual assistants that can 'hear'. Tom recently wrote the book 'Sonic Virtuality' and is about to complete a second entitled 'Echoes of Other Worlds'.
