I am a Senior Lecturer in Ecology and Centenary Research Fellow at the University of Melbourne.

I work in the School of Ecosystem and Forest Sciences.

I undertake research on ecological and evolutionary dynamics. I primarily use field data and experiments to explore links between biodiversity and environmental change. I also build models to forecast changes in animal and plant populations, which in turn help to develop strategies to conserve biodiversity. Increasingly, I’m using participatory approaches to science that involve policy makers from the get-go.
