Professor of Global Health Policy, Canada Research Chair in Global Health Governance, Simon Fraser University I am a Professor and Canada Research Chair Tier 1 on Global Health Governance. My research focuses on the shared health risks associated with globalization and the collective action needed across societies to govern those risks. My research lies at the intersection between global political economy and public health. From the reform of the World Health Organization to advancing collective action on a range of shared health risks spanning communicable and non-communicable diseases, my research seeks to strengthen the institutional arrangements needed to protect and promote population health in a globalized world.
