Jan Kabátek is a Research Fellow at the Melbourne Institute of Applied Economic and Social Research. Jan has obtained his PhD degree in Economics at the Tilburg University, and he is affiliated to the ARC Life Course Centre, CentER graduate school, IZA and Netspar.
Jan's research interests lie at the intersection of labor economics, applied econometrics and family economics. His most recent research projects focus on: 1) the employment outcomes of youth minimum-wage workers, 2) the education outcomes of children in same-sex couples, and 3) the effects of children's genders on marital stability of their parents.
