Design Thinking Programme Manager, University of Cape Town My Doctoral studies focussed on a blended approach to participatory design utilising design thinking and activity theory to understand socio-technical systems in service delivery, specifically solid waste management in informal settlements. My masters in Industrial Design also adopted a participatory design approach, here I worked with a group of elderly and people with disabilities designing fitness equipment. Prior to this I worked designing transport solutions for rural transport with several villages in South Africa
